HDFC Bank’s Parivartan HRDP (Holistic Rural Development Programme) was the major CSR project that MSSRF took up in Kerala state. The Phase 1 activities (2018-2022) in 30 villages in 6 districts (Wayanad, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Pathanamthitta) were focused initially on mitigating the negative externalities of the flood of 2018. Eventually, the project has been tuned to a Holistic Rural Development Programme. Phase 2 projects (2022 onwards) were spread in 34 villages in 3 districts (Wayanad, Idukki, and Ernakulam), and are more on building resilient livelihood opportunities for the rural poor, especially the women.
