There are three streams of operation in our mission such as (i) Biodiversity Conservation(ii) Education, Communication & Training (ECT) in the area of biodiversity management and sustainable agriculture (iii) Sustainable Livelihoods and Food Security. The Conservation area focuses on threatened Plant Genetic Resources of both wild and cultivated; the ECT gives emphasis to empower tribal community men, women and children with knowledge, skills and learning in the area of CBM as well as sustainable agriculture and rural development interventions and the Sustainable Livelihoods and Food Security team gives priority to developing and demonstrating models in the area of sustainable livelihoods, food security and poverty reduction.
