Prof. M.S. Swaminathan, the founder of CAbC, envisioned the Centre “to serve as a temple of knowledge in the area of conservation, and sustainable and equitable use of biodiversity, specifically agro-biodiversity”. As a Centre, we stand for an eco-sensitive self-reliant society empowered in conservation and sustainable & equitable utilization of biodiversity.
