HDFC Bank’s CSR- Parivartan implemented by M S Swaminathan Research Foundation officially launched the Fisher Friend Mobile Application (FFMA) by K N Unnikrishnan, MLA Vypeen at Ernakulum district on Sunday, 30th October 2022.
Fishermen-women communities are facing many issues including dwindling resources, impacts of changing climate, and water pollution and they are finding it hard to cope up with the changing situations. In this context, MSSRF’s FFMA, which provides a handful of advisory services will be helpful for the people, said K. N Unnikrishnan.
Smt Rasikala Priyaraj, President of Elamkunnappuzha Panchayath presided over the function.Dr S. Velvizhi, Head – Fish For All Centre Poomphuhar spoke about 15 years of journey of the Fish for All Research &Training Centre of MSSRF and FFMA. Mr Kumar Sahayaraju has introduced FFMA’s features to the audience.
