Dr Archana Bhatt

Scientist

Currently working as Scientist at Community Agrobiodiversity Centre. She holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural Extension & Communication from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar (Role of community radio in livelihood improvement) and Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension from NDRI, Karnal (Dynamics of draught animals in Mountain Agriculture). Her academic interests include qualitative social research, food and nutritional security, Indigenous Technical Knowledge (ITK) and training & capacity building. She has organized and attended various training programmes and conferences at national and international level and was awarded a UGC fellowship for the doctoral degree. She is currently engaged in the area of conservation of traditional rice varieties in Wayanad at CAbC, MSSRF.
