Kambalapire-Cultural Centre

A cultural centre called “Kambalapire” was created at Kokkuzhi Paniya tribal hamlet by Mr Ashwin, an SBI Youth for India Fellow at MSSRF. The centre accommodates two computers and eight different kinds of musical instruments that are of prime importance to the tribal people. The centre is also looking to add books and sports equipment soon. The idea is to create a safe space within the tribal village for the overall development of the community. Akhil Jacob, Meenakshi Ravi, Amal Thomas , Sreerag, Vivek muthirayil, Archana Sunil, Binu, Santhosh, Gayatri and the villagers of Kokkuzhi were provided voluntary support for this initiative
