Nedumkandam Panchayat UP School Transformed into Smart School Through HDFC Bank Parivartan Project

Nedumkandam Panchayat UP School has been upgraded into a Smart School as a part of the HDFC Bank Parivartan Project. The transformation includes the installation of an interactive display panel, digital learning materials, and enhanced STEM-based science facilities, along with a water purifier and improved waste management systems. This initiative aims to create a more engaging and effective learning environment for students.


The inauguration of the smart classroom was officiated by Mrs. Bindhu Sahadevan, Development Standing Committee Chairperson of Nedumkandam Grama Panchayat, Manu P.S, SMC Member, who presided over the function. Mr Binesh M.K., Junior Manager, MSSRF, Mr Sijo Thomas, Development Coordinator, MSSRF, Felix Varghese, Branch Manager, HDFC Bank, Nedumkandam, Mr Dipu Prabhakaran, Head Master in Charge, Shijo Antoney, Teacher spoke at the event.


Through the provision of modern equipment and the creation of a conducive learning environment, the HDFC Bank Parivartan project seeks to empower teachers to utilize more efficient teaching methods. This comprehensive approach is anticipated to enhance learning outcomes for students at Nedumkandam Panchayat UP School and bridge the gap between rural and urban educational experiences.
