Mr. Joseph John is currently serving as a Programme Officer. He holds a Masters degree in Microbiology from Mahatma Gandhi University and pursuing Ph.D. with University of Madras. He has a strong background in the subject and supervised 65 post graduate dissertations for various universities. He has co-authored three books on Organic farming, Bio-pesticidal and Nitrogen fixing plants and 51 Agriculture Success Stories of Wayanad District. He has immense experience in the areas of microbial inputs in agriculture, phyto-chemical and nutritional analysis, natural resource management through watershed development projects and participatory action research programmes. He has 10 years of research experience in various research institutions like KAU, CPCRI, and SRM University. Presently he focuses in the production of microbial inputs for sustainable livelihoods, preliminary phytochemical and nutraceutical analysis of native wild resources of Western Ghats.
